确权的网站作品《现实真没劲》绘制了一组虚空的肖像，以网站为载体及框架绘制了一系列以百无聊赖的慵懒姿态盯着手机屏幕的人物——就像是你我一样的人物，不断被满溢的信息洗刷着。
这些寻常人物，事实上是由空字符串经过区块链底层加密技术运算得出得唯一哈希值:

image)，以貌似寻常且满溢的画面提示了当代存在的荒诞困境。

Commissioned by the art institution TCHA, The Internet is so Boring
depicts a series of hollowed portraits: on the website that contains
the totality of the artwork, one sees a group of human figures in
various idle postures fixated upon their smartphones, as time lapses –
figures that are just like you and me, constantly washed over by
overwhelming information.
Mundane and common from a first glance, the fully outlined figures in
fact are composed exclusively of a unique cryptoed, permanent hash
that corresponds to empty strings:
E3B0C44298FC1C149AFBF4C8996FB92427AE41E4649B934CA495991B7852B855. In
other words, the meticulously depicted, fully detailed figures are
empty; in the outlines that are textual in nature, there is nothing
that can be described as tangible, real, meaningful or dimensional.
The work uses the hash sha 256bit algorithm that is common in the
peer-to-peer network of ipfs, and is rendered permanent as a generated
NFT through a smart contract. It is technologically sufficient, yet is
only related to a community that is voided and content-less.
In his usual black humour, Wang revisits the profound tradition of
vanitas by suspending the subject-still life status of the human
figures; and, by creating"transients images" that operate in the space
between painting and film/animation, he overwhelms the "canvas" and
direct one's attention to an absurd contemporary situation.
